Modern Languages

Students study both French and German in Year 7. At the end of the year, they can then decide to focus on one of their languages in Years 8 and 9 or they can carry on studying both. Students are encouraged to take a language at GCSE and they can also continue their studies of French and/or German in KS5.

We organise a Year 10 residential trip to Normandy and have a long-running German Exchange programme with a school in Cologne.
