We are proud to announce that The Marlborough School has recently received the prestigious International Schools Award, which runs from the 1st September 2009 until August 2012. The award is in part recognition for the school's work with foreign partner schools through its Exchange and Comenius programmes, partly through the various curriculum visits abroad such as the WW1 Battlefields Tour, Sports tour to Barbados and Choir Tour and finally it recognises international work and issues studied in subjects such as Art, Humanities, English and Business Studies.

Mr Haynes accepted the award at a ceromony in London from the BBC journalist and broadcaster George Alagiah in October 2009.
