School's Out Activity Programmes 2009 - 2010Download the programme of activities and booking form for EASTER and LATE MAY BREAK here (pdf). A holiday programme for children and young people, that runs on the Marlborough School site every school holiday for age 6+ years. Activity Programme runs from 9.30am – 3.30pm with lots of different activities including sport, pottery, sculpture, survival, explorer days, henna and nails, Be a DJ, cookery, School of Rock, Theatre and lots more.‘Chill Out Club’ is from 8.30 - 9.30am and 3.30 - 5pm at £2.50 per hour for morning sessions, and £5 per hour for afternoon sessions. The Marlborough Book Club started in the Autumn 2007. We meet every six weeks (approximately) in the school library. We are a friendly group and anyone who would like to drop in and join us are very welcome. Make Woodstock "A Plastic Bag Free Town"Fed up with all the plastic bags that litter the countryside and never, ever seem to degrade? Why not join together in ridding the town of the dreaded free plastic bag? A new environmental group in Woodstock called "Sustainable Woodstock" has been awarded a £2000 grant from Oxfordshire County Council to buy canvas/calico bags for sale at cost price in the town’s shops to encourage everyone to cut down and eventually eliminate the plastic bag menace.
