Fairtrade Fortnight 22nd February to 7th March

Our aim is to help fight poverty by endorsing Fairtrade products in our school. We will be aiming to educate our students about the ethos of Fairtrade through specific subject areas and extra curricular activities throughout the year.

In Fairtrade Fortnight (22nd February to 7th March 2010) we are hoping to organise a Fairtrade and sustainable market in Woodstock, where we will be inviting local suppliers of Fairtrade products to sell their goods and also promote sustainability in conjunction with the Sustainable Woodstock Group.  If anyone is interested in holding a stall during this event please contact Sharon Whittaker, at The Marlborough School, on 01993 814744.
