Parent Governor Elections
We are pleased to report the outcome of the recent Parent Governor Elections:  Mr David Leach and Mr Simon Robins were re-elected and Mr Bill Oddy, Mr Simon Jones and Mr Roger James were elected as new Parent Governors; their terms of office commence on 1st April 2010.

Sport Relief
The PE department will be organising three activities for Sport Relief, and would be grateful for all contributions towards their £500 target. Students will be able to purchase Sport Relief socks from the PE Office for £2 a pair. Students may pay £1 to run the Sport Relief Mile during pe lessons, wearing their choice of sports kit. AND on Friday 26th March there will be fierce competitive play in the Staff vs. Sixth Form Netball Match, Sports Hall, lunchtime, 50p entry to watch!

Events

The Elective Insect and Wildlife Club invite students to join them on Wednesday 17th March, Lunchtime in the MEC. TV scientist Dr Mike Leahy will be talking about how you get to work with animals and insects on TV, how to stay safe when dealing with them (!) and how plants can be useful to us.
