Open Evening and Open Morning Events for September 2026 admissions:

We are delighted to welcome prospective pupils currently in Year 6, and their families, to our Open Evening Event at The Marlborough School, Thursday 25th September 2025 starting at 6:00pm. The evening will include an introduction and talk from our Principal, Mr Andrew Hanlon, and an opportunity to meet and talk with current students and staff. You will also have the opportunity to join a staff-led group tour to explore the school and facilities. No pre-booking is required.

In addition, we will also be holding two Open Mornings, providing additional opportunities to experience what our school looks and feels like on a typical day, with current pupils leading tours of the school. The Open Mornings will be held Tuesday 30th September and Thursday 2nd October 2025, these will run from 9.00am - 10:30am.

The Marlborough School in an academy which is part of The River Learning Trust, as such it is it's own admissions authority. The River Learning Trust has delegated the responsibility for admissions arrangements to the Local Authority for Year Groups 7-11.

Admission Arrangements

The River Learning Trust Admissions Rules for The Marlborough School remain the same as those of Community Schools and that there is no change to the designated catchment area for the school.
