School Transport

Bicycles

Our pupils are encouraged to cycle to school and purpose built cycle sheds are provided. Parents of pupils who choose to cycle to school are responsible for ensuring bicycles are carefully maintained and that their children are wearing cycle helments. The police reserve the right to inspect bicycles at any time. A cycle lock is advisable.

Home to School Transport (Buses)

Pupils who are entitled to travel on school transport are issued with bus passes by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) mailed directly and are not issued by the school.

Should any pupil, for any reason, miss the school bus home, he or she is expected to report to the school reception immediately.

Queries over eligibility for home to school transport should be referred to OCC School Admissions Team – 0345 241 2487.

Queries over bus operator or routes should be referred to OCC Quality Management Team – 01865 323500.

Families who are not eligible for free transport can apply to OCC School Admissions Team for a paid seat, using the “Paid Seat Scheme”, on one of the existing routes. There is also a 'private hire' transport arrangement from Bicester which can be viewed below.
