Charity Week Presentation Assembly

A presentation assembly was held on Wednesday 23rd September, to present cheques for monies raised on behalf of our three nominated charities from last academic year: Seesaw (local), Oxford Children's Hospital (national), and Save the Children (international). Miss Wilkinson, Enrichment Leader, was overjoyed to confirm the final amount raised from last year's events - a phenomenal £17,023! This is the most we have ever raised from Charity Week.

Representatives from each charity spoke at the assembly, thanking students for their outstanding work and providing an insight as to how the money raised will directly support the work they do. We are so very proud of our Community and Social Action Team, who also spoke during the assembly, for their incredible work throughout the year, particularly during Charity Week back in March. To all of our students who took part and contributed; you have all been amazing and a shining testament to what we can achieve together as a school community.

Following the assembly, cheques were presented to each charity for the sum of £4,750. The remaining monies raised will be used to host our Senior Citizens Christmas Party and other charity events.
