Year 11 Geography Trip

On Thursday 8th October, our Year 11 Geographers went to Hengistbury Head, near Dorset to collect data for their Geography course.

The purpose of the trip was for pupils to collect data for beach profiles and sediment analysis. Pupils also observed whether there was longshore drift occurring and coastal management techniques used to protect the area. Pupils carried out each task with positivity and demonstrated the school values of respect, perseverance and ambition.

This work is used to help answer part of paper 3 when the pupils sit their public exams in June 2027.
