Thursday 24th April, the MEC was host to our annual KS5 Awards Evening. The evening offers a chance to celebrate and recognise the academic achievements of our Sixth Form students in Year 12 and Year 13, and their commitment to excellence, ambition and perseverance in a particular teaching subject.

On arrival, the audience enjoyed music from our very talented Year 13 student Ed, followed by a welcome and introduction from Principal Mr Hanlon before the awards were announced. During the evening, Year 13 students Sophia and Samantha, delivered an informative and insightful EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) presentation to the audience. Before the final awards were presented, the audience had the opportunity to appreciate a second sensational musical performance from Year 13 students Sam and Samson.

For our Year 13 students, the evening marked the final Awards Event they would be attending here at The Marlborough School, it was an emotional and heart-warming evening, showcasing the very best of our school. Congratulations to all of those students who received a certificate and thank you to all parents, carers, and family members who joined us.
