Mental Health Awareness Week:
Article / Posted on 2 Jun 2025
Mental Health Awareness Week ran from the 12th - 18th May and this year's theme was 'community' - highlighting the importance of belonging and connecting with others, to promote a feeling of safety and support, when we may experience difficult and testing times. This reinforces the values of our 'Marlborough Community' which we often refer to, supporting and helping each other, without judgement, to ensure that no one feels alone.

To raise awareness and encourage discussions around our mental wellbeing, throughout the week students took to the front field during morning registration time to walk, run or jog, several laps. The weather was kind to us all week and the students embraced the opportunity and change in routine, spending time in the fresh air with their peers and teachers. We were incredibly proud of the enthusiasm shown by all students, who returned to their first lesson of the day feeling refreshed and focussed. A fantastic way to start the school day!
