World Mental Health Day
Back
On Wednesday 8th October we hosted a mental wellbeing pop up stand at breaktime to mark World Mental Health Day alongside focusing on wellbeing during our briefing and whole school assembly that week. Members of staff and representatives from CAMHS spoke with pupils about what they do to support their mental wellbeing and offered resources and ideas to promote the importance of protecting our mental wellbeing. Pupils from all year groups enjoyed engaging with the pop-up stand and contributed to the activities. It was fantastic to see the huge breadth of activities our pupils take part in to support their wellbeing with everything from breathing exercises to football, listening to music and talking to friends. Charities like Young Minds and the NSPCC also provide resources and information for parents on how they can support their children’s mental wellbeing.
